How it Works

We invite you to come on down to the ranch, have a walk around the corrals, and see for yourself the natural South Texas landscape where our cattle are raised. We're about an hour south of San Antonio. 

Or if you prefer, view from video to make your beef selection. Buy a entire beef or split with friends and family resting assured, your beef is as close to natural as humanly possible and free from producer added hormones or steriods.

$200 will hold your selection. 

We'll deliver your beef on the hoof to our local custom processor. Once at the processor, since pricing is based on weight, the hang carcass weight will be determined. 

(Carcass Weight - The weight of an animal after slaughter and removal of most internal organs, head, and hide. On average, for feedlot steers and heifers, a beef carcass is about 63% of the weight of the live animal.)

At that point, you will pay the Strobo Ranch $4.75 per lb of carcass weight as determined by the processor's scale. 

Now that the processor has the beef, you work with them to determine the custom process options and pay for custom processing of your choice. 

The processor will work with you on timeframes and delivery options. 

Q-What does Angus + mean?

A-Brangus Breed is and established hybrid of 5/8 Angus and 3/8 Brahman cattle. Angus plus simply means that the our cattle have additional genetic influence of Register Angus Sire for the renowned texture, marbling and flavor of the Angus Breed.
